My little helpers

Since I'm having some troubles with my camera there won't be any pictures on this post but let me fill you in on what Jack & Blue have been up to.
We've been having good weather around here so we've gone on adventure walks where they lead me around the neighborhood and (thankfully) always manage to lead me back up to their circle. They experienced what its like to have a hot air balloon floating over them, they just bark at the noise of the burner.
One afternoon we were playing in the backyard but when it came time to water the plants, they head inside to the air-conditioning and by the time I'm done they're sacked out napping on the couch!!
Last night the dogs had an ornery streak by stealing my kolache off the kitchen table and perfectly got it out its plastic container. I got back to the empty container on the front family room floor and 4 innocent eyes peering from the couch. I have no idea who initiated or even how they pulled off the whole fiasco but I wish I would've had a kolache-cam to find out!
This morning, they woke me up at 6am to go potty by playing "paws in the face" which isn't always pleasant first thing in the morning but very effective. Once you make a good faith effort to get up they stop and just look at you sweetly to put their collars on. When they came back to lay back down they were the best 2 snuggle bugs one could ask for.
I'll miss these 2 -oodles but it won't be long until we get to hang out again!!

Last 3 days!

I'm back hanging out with Jack & Blue. I missed their smiling faces and funny antics!They're the best greeters, I'm sure their family can't wait to come home to them.
Everyone stuck their tongues out...

Me & the doggies! They're BIG TIME cuddlers and they can't stand have one being closer to me than the other. They miss their family!!

When I met Matthew he told me to be careful and not say 3 things in front of the dogs, or else they get excited, "Don't say 'Go on a walk', 'Go for a car-ride', or 'Go on a boat-ride.'"
Since I knew they loved these things and it was such a beautiful day, we did 2/3!

Harder than it looks...

I tried making dinner for Jack and Blue tonight. I heated up the rice and added some kibble... but this didn't meet Jack and Blue's standard. Location is key!

Jack and Blue Girl

Jack and Blue Girl had quite the day yesterday! They got to go on a walk around the block to smell all sorts of smells, say hello to other dogs, and practice running on the double leash. Sometimes it was like a brain teaser to get myself and the 2 dogs untangled from the double leash but we all had fun!

Blue girl is enjoying getting home-made meals since Jack wasn't feeling good Friday. They both had rice and hamburger for lunch and dinner. Jack hasn't had an upset tummy at all and enjoys getting his peanut butter coated meds.

Jack and Blue slept in with me this morning (minus an early morning potty break) and then when it was time for breakfast, were very patient as I warmed everything up. I added some kibble to see if Jack can keep it down since he seems to be feeling so much better. Afterwards the 2 were running around, rough housing. Somehow Blue thinks I should be on her team and help her get away from Jack...unfortunately for her, I won't play favorites & I think its hilarious to watch them play with each other!!
